The Health Club / Leisure Centre Course

The course is designed to enhance the students confidence and equip them with a knowledge of self-defence.

The sessions last for 1 hour and the course covers 5 sessions.

Session 1:

Use of everyday items for protection, Methods of assessing potential risk, Assailants vulnerable points

Session 2:

Grips, Strikes, Jabs, Kicks and Blocks

Session 3:

Simple techniques, Standing attacks

Session 4:

Strangles and attacks from behind

Session 5:

Ground attacks


On completion of the course (all 5 sessions) the attendee will receive a certificate of competency as well as the offer of a free Martial Arts lesson at the Busen Martial Arts Centre in Twickenham, Middlesex.

The area required for training is 6mx6m.

required number of students 10 per course.
